Detailed Itinerary

2 DAYS / 1 NIGHT

DAY 1: MARRAKECH - IMLIL - TOUBKAL REFUGE (3207M)

Pick up from Marrakech. Drive 1.5 hours to Imlil Valley where you'll meet the muleteers. Begin the trek ascending steadily to the Sidi Chamharouch shrine. After a picnic lunch, continue up to the Toubkal Refuge (3207m) for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: TOUBKAL REFUGE - TOUBKAL SUMMIT (4167M) - IMLIL - MARRAKECH

A very early start for the tough climb to the summit (4,167m). The ascent takes around 3-4 hours. Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views across the Atlas Mountains and Sahara before beginning the long descent back to the refuge for lunch, and then all the way down to Imlil. Transfer back to Marrakech.

Recommended Trekking & Hiking Equipment

For our trekking adventures, there is no need to buy a ton of equipment... Most of the equipment can be rented in Imlil locally before the trek begins. A sleeping bag is required for some treks (can be rented too).
