Detailed Itinerary

3 DAYS / 2 NIGHTS

DAY 1: MARRAKECH - ATLAS MOUNTAINS - AIT BENHADDOU - DADES VALLEY

Morning departure from Marrakech heading across the High Atlas Mountains. We will stop at the magnificent Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a fortified village and UNESCO World Heritage site. After exploring the kasbah and having lunch, we proceed to Ouarzazate and continue through the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs and the Skoura palm grove to reach the Dades Valley for our overnight stay.

DAY 2: DADES GORGES - TODRA GORGES - ERFOUD - MERZOUGA NIGHT IN DESERT

After breakfast, we drive to the towering Todra Gorges, where you can walk along the impressive 300m high canyons. We continue our journey through Tinghir and Erfoud, eventually arriving at the Merzouga desert. Here, you will trade your vehicle for camels and trek into the towering Erg Chebbi dunes. Enjoy a breathtaking sunset before arriving at your desert camp for dinner, Berber music by the campfire, and a night under the starry sky.

DAY 3: CAMEL TREK BACK - AGDEZ - ATLAS MOUNTAINS - MARRAKECH

Wake up early for a spectacular sunrise over the Saharan dunes. After breakfast, ride your camels back to the edge of the desert. We will depart for Marrakech, passing through the arid landscapes to Alnif, Tazzarine, and the beautiful Draa Valley with its millions of palm trees. We reach Agdez and continue crossing the High Atlas Mountains to arrive in Marrakech.
