4 DAYS / 3 NIGHTSDAY 1: FES - IFRANE (SWISS RESORT) - AZROU CEDAR FOREST - MIDELT - ZIZ VALLEY - CAMEL RIDE IN MERZOUGA
Depart Fes for a spectacular journey over the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in the alpine town of Ifrane, often called the 'Switzerland of Morocco', and visit the cedar forests of Azrou to see the Barbary macaques. We travel through Midelt and the spectacular Ziz Valley with its sweeping palm oases. Arriving in Merzouga, you'll swap your vehicle for camels and trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes to reach your desert camp.
DAY 2: MERZOUGA DESERT EXCURSION - VISIT NOMADS - CAMEL RIDE IN SAHARA
Today is dedicated to exploring the Merzouga region. We'll visit the village of Khamlia to listen to traditional Gnaoua music, interact with nomadic families living in the harsh desert environment, and explore the dunes in our 4x4. In the afternoon, you will head back to your cozy accommodation located at the edge of the glorious dunes.
DAY 3: ERG CHEBBI DESERT - RISSANI MARKET - TINGHIR & TODRA GORGES - DADES VALLEY
Following breakfast, we visit the traditional and bustling market of Rissani before driving west. Our route takes us through Erfoud and Tinghir before arriving at the magnificent Todra Gorges, towering 300m above the valley floor. After exploring the canyon, we continue to the Dades Valley to spend the night in a traditional kasbah hotel.
DAY 4: DADES VALLEY - VALLEY OF ROSES - OUARZAZATE - KASBAH OF AIT BENHADDOU - MARRAKECH
Our final day begins with a drive through the breathtaking Valley of Roses and the Skoura palm grove. We arrive in Ouarzazate, the Hollywood of Africa, before heading to the ancient Kasbah Ait Benhaddou for a guided visit. After a delicious lunch, we navigate the winding roads of the High Atlas Mountains across the Tizi n'Tichka pass to reach Marrakech, completing the tour.
