Detailed Itinerary

2 DAYS / 1 NIGHT

DAY 1: MARRAKECH - IMLIL - TIZI N'TAMATERT - TACHEDDIRT

From Marrakech, drive to Imlil. Trek up towards the Tizi n'Tamatert pass holding commanding views of the Imlil and Imnane valleys. Trek down to the village of Tacheddirt, the highest village in the Atlas, for an overnight stay in a local gîte.

DAY 2: TACHEDDIRT - TIZI N'AGUESSIOUL - AGUESSIOUL - IMLIL - MARRAKECH

Descend along the Imnane Valley, passing several traditional Berber villages. The trail crosses the river and then steadily ascends to the Tizi n'Aguessioul pass before dropping back down into the Imlil Valley to meet our transport back to Marrakech.

Recommended Trekking & Hiking Equipment

For our trekking adventures, there is no need to buy a ton of equipment... Most of the equipment can be rented in Imlil locally before the trek begins. A sleeping bag is required for some treks (can be rented too).
