6 DAYS / 5 NIGHTS

DAY 1: MARRAKECH - IMLIL - TIZI N'TAMATERT PASS (2279M) - TACHEDDIRT

From Marrakech, drive to Imlil. We trek up towards the Tizi n'Tamatert pass, enjoying spectacular views of the Imlil and Imnane valleys. Then we descend to the village of Tacheddirt, the highest in the Atlas, for an overnight stay.

DAY 2: TACHEDDIRT VILLAGE - IAAMNEN VALLEY - LIKKEMT (2600M)

After breakfast, depart Tacheddirt and walk up along the Iaamnen valley. The trail ascends toward the Likkemt pass (3555m) giving extraordinary panoramic views, before dropping down towards the remote Likkemt pastures for the night.

DAY 3: LIKKEMT - AZIB N'LIKKEMT - TIZI N'OURAI (3109M) - AMSOUZART (1740M)

The journey continues across the high pastures of Azib n'Likkemt before ascending the Tizi n'Ourai pass. Enjoy the contrast of the landscape as you descend into the deep and verdant Tifnoute valley to reach the large village of Amsouzart.

DAY 4: AMSOUZART - LAKE IFNI (2295M)

Leave Amsouzart and hike up towards the magical Lake Ifni. This glacial lake is surrounded by towering peaks and dramatic scree slopes. It's a short walking day, giving you time to explore the shores of the lake and rest.

DAY 5: LAKE IFNI - TIZI N'OUANOUMS (3664M) - TOUBKAL REFUGE (3207M)

A challenging day as we clamber up the steep scree to the Tizi n'Ouanoums pass. The spectacular view over the Toubkal Massif from the pass makes it worthwhile. Descend steeply to the Toubkal Refuge to rest before summit day.

DAY 6: TOUBKAL REFUGE - TOUBKAL SUMMIT (4167M) - IMLIL - MARRAKECH

Set out early to conquer Mount Toubkal, the roof of North Africa. After taking in the unbelievable sights from the 4,167m peak, perform the long descent back to the refuge and then all the way to Imlil. Meet your transport and return to Marrakech.

Recommended Trekking & Hiking Equipment

For our trekking adventures, there is no need to buy a ton of equipment... Most of the equipment can be rented in Imlil locally before the trek begins. A sleeping bag is required for some treks (can be rented too).
